CPN Challenge Mentor Program
The CPN Challenge offers a mentoring program to all Stage I grant winners. The aim is twofold. Firstly, for winners mentoring provides access to human capital in order to make the most effective use of their grants and to improve their chances of success. Secondly, the mentoring program is another way to build a community and foster a culture of information sharing within SCI research.
The areas of mentoring that we cover within the program include: regulatory process, commercialization, translation of idea, manufacturing advice, scientific advice, and study design in either animal or human trials. The winners are welcome to choose whichever of these areas they would benefit the most from and then are connected with very talented and knowledgeable experts from around the world.
We believe that mentoring will be a great asset to the Challenge and look forward to seeing prosperous relationships grow between Grantees and Mentors—all whilst furthering research in spinal cord injury and drawing us closer to the final goal of conquering paralysis.
