Each proposal is limited to four pages in total. References and table of content (if applicable) are excluded from this page count. Submissions need to be presented in a format that the judges will be able to review easily. As a guideline, submissions should have:
•A font size of no smaller than 11, with single or double-spacing within paragraphs and double-spacing between paragraphs.
•Margins of one inch on all four sides.
All proposals should include:
•Summary (equivalent length of 0.5 pages)
•Background and significance
•Research design and methods*
•Landscape scan (maximum 0.5 pages)
*All proposals must be suitable for chronic SCI models. If acute models are used, the grant application must clearly state how and why the additional effort of using a chronic model is not justified and how the idea would be translated to a chronic model.
Applicants will then be asked to disclose the following:
•CVs for all team members
•A financial breakdown of how funding will be used
•Letters of support from their advisors and collaborators
